It was an award-winning Monday for Premier League players and members. Son deservedly gets awarded goal of the season.

The Premier League is done and now we brace ourselves for the endless rumours, links, and transfers between clubs in the Premier League and all across Europe. Besides the norm, what’s going on in the world of England football?

Goal of the season – Jose’s Son

Spurs biggest victory for the season and Jose Mourinho’s as the London boss has not gone unnoticed because of one reason. That reason is Heung-Min Son and his solo goal from one big box to the opponents’ big box. Feet like Messi, the speed of Adama, and the prolific finish of well, himself.

Don’t think any other goal came close to this one. The only goal that would have counted more was if it was a last-minute goal to clinch the Premier League title or something of great significance like that. But we all know that was never going to happen.

Jurgen Klopp

The Reds boss who has recently taken Liverpool to English top flight glory has been awarded the LMA Manager of the Year accolade. The prize was presented by the best manager in Premier League history, Sir Alex Ferguson, and he was more than happy to present the German with the announcement of his feat gained.

Respect is shown by one great to another great. Jurgen Klopp has beaten Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth and last season’s winner Chris Wilder. And No, I do not think Chris Wilder should have gotten it because then Nuno should have last season for a fantastic maiden campaign with Wolves.

This is only one of the many individual records the Reds’ manager must expect after this season’s brilliance.

Extra time off the pitch

Sky Sports reports all clubs taking part in the remaining European fixtures will get some extra time off when they have completed their respective tournaments. These clubs include Chelsea, Man City, Man United, and Wolves. Chelsea should have a one-game run, while City, United, and the Wanderers can all still win gold.

Crowd control for next season?

The English government dropped the worst news but it’s not to say it wasn’t expected. As per the stories making the rounds regarding crowd capacity ‘I really can’t see that happening in the next year’, is the words coming out of government official’s mouth.

It is said stadiums cannot be allowed more than 25% capacity per game or event. James Calder goes on in saying that fans could be allowed back into stadiums by October, that’s if there aren’t any late spikes in the country by the time of October.

"The pandemic will make it ‘very difficult’ for Premier League matches to be staged with full crowds for at least another year and capacities face being capped at 25% when stadiums eventually re-open, a leading government adviser has said. (Via: dailymail.co.uk)"

We need that vaccine world! We need life to get back to normal. The world is crying for it and so are football fans.
