All clubs backroom staff didn’t even let the Premier League season rest properly and it was business straight away with transfer moves imminent.

Many things taking place, too much to mention in one post. As we know the world of football is filled with drama, deceit, and shocking rumours that on an odd occasion turns out to be true. Clubs have wasted no time to start preparations for the new season ahead.

Bye-bye Vertonghen

The end of the 2019-20 campaign has really brought forward an end to an ear for some. Spurs says buy to their long-standing defender, Jan Vertonghen. Joining him is goalkeeper, Michel Vorm. The former was at White Hart Lane and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for eight years, signing for them way back in 2012.

We will never forget his performance in that Spurs-Dortmund Champions League game last season. Also leaving their respective clubs after COVID-19 contract extensions ended was duo David Silva and Adam Lallana.

The latter has just completed his permanent move to Brighton in a three-year deal. Other Red to follow him into the club and then out is Dejan Lovren. He will be moving to Mother Russia and linking up with Zenit St Petersburg in a £10,9 million ( €12m) move.

Jadon Sancho will be moving on just not now

More from Premier League

The Dortmund wonderkid had the first bid for him from Man United rejected, according to the German outlet, Bild. This indicates business between the two has started and it will only be a matter of time (it will be some time as the Manchester club loves to wear down their opponents for 12 rounds before the club meets any terms on a deal) before they announce Sancho.

It was also reported today that Inter Milan’s willing to do a player exchange plus money to complete the permanent move of Alexis Sanchez, who is on loan to the Italian club. He along with Chris Smalling must return to Old Trafford, as the English club will not be extending their respective loan deals in the Serie A.

Another story regarding a player from the German Bundesliga, Kai Havertz will try and push through a move to Stamford Bridge before his current club, Bayer Leverkusen takes part in the Europa League.

Moving on but staying in Chelsea, Timo Werner arrived in London to meet up with their other new signing and already landed, Hakim Ziyech. How exciting isn’t it to be a Blue from London? Monday blues never felt this good I guess.

More news out of London believes Arsenal’s working hard to offload unwanted Guendouzi for their priority target, Thomas Partey. The attempt failed and a deal has been pushed back. It was assumed the player will re-sign with Atletico Madrid due to the Gunners lack of European football next season.

Trending. Bye-bye Kepa Arrizabalaga. light

Another story out of North London, but just a teaser. Spurs might have started off with some great business if we all got the prediction right. Spurs could possibly have tired Tanguy Ndombele down to a longer stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. More to follow when the club releases more on the story. Excited yet? I am!

The last bit of news coming out in England is that Wolves have completed the signing of free agent and ex-Hammer goalkeeper, Matija Sarkic on a three-year agreement. It is also being reported that Tottenham has shown a strong interest in relegated Bournemouth forward, Callum Wilson.
