Fantasy Premier League GW38 Preview – The Final Curtain
Midfielders
Raheem Sterling (11.9m, Norwich at home)
It is imperative to go all-in on Man City this week if you can. The second-best team in the league, who have scored 4 or more goals 5(!) times since the restart, go up against Norwich who has conceded a lot of goals since lockdown! Sterling has been on fire since the lockdown and should run riot against Norwich. I’m hoping he gets a decent run out after playing 90 just once in the last 6 games.
David Silva (7.4m, Norwich at home)
The last of my Man City trio is David Silva. I’ve gone for the midfield maestro because it’s his last game for Man City in the league and I’m hoping they will be playing ‘tee up Silva’ for the day. Norwich will offer little resistance and Silva should go out on a massive high!
Anthony Martial (8.3m, Leicester away)
Man United have also been incredible since the restart, blowing away opponents with the threats of Martial, Rashford, Greenwood and Fernandes. I’ve been tripling up on Man United for several weeks and I’m sticking with 2 of them for the final week (more because it is a tough match and there are better options than a lack of faith in them). Martial is one of the two staying in my team as he is OOP and in blistering form, so why get rid now!?
Bruno Fernandes (9.1m, Leicester away)

The second of my Man United pair, Fernandes stays in the hope of a penalty or a few assists. He has been incredible since joining Man United and it’s worth enjoying him being this cheap for one more week.
By next season he will surely be 10-11m! Man United also have the motivation to beat Leicester and guarantee their 3rd place and a spot in next season’s Champions League, while Leicester has been pretty poor since the season restarted.
Christian Pulisic (7.4m, Wolves at home)
Chelsea also needs to avoid a defeat to guarantee top 4. Pulisic is the best player in their attack and showed exactly that as he came on to great effect against Liverpool. Since cementing his spot in the starting lineup he has blanked just once and will be looking for a return against Wolves to help his new team get into Europe’s premier competition.
