Since the resumption of footballing action, Alexis Sanchez has performed well for Inter Milan.
After a disastrous spell with at Manchester United, Alexis Sanchez was desperate to resurrect his career, with or without the Red Devils. To end his misery, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sanctioned a loan departure for the Chilean, despite being short of attacking options after failing to replace Romelu Lukaku in the transfer market.
The 31-year-old sealed a move to Inter Milan where he reunited with Romelu Lukaku, who happened to be one of the best mates of Sanchez in the United dressing room. However, former Arsenal man was struck with another injury issue when he damaged his left ankle which required surgery.
Despite Sanchez’s inconsistent game time due to a lengthy fitness problem, Antonio Conte entrusted the player to come good for the Nerazzurri, having revered the player since his coaching stint with Chelsea.
Putting his injury issues behind, finally, Alexis Sanchez started working on his match rhythm and gained a prominent role in Inter’s forward line featuring Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
Now with full match fitness in his tank, the former United number 7 is looking like his old self and is pulling the strings of Internazionale’s attacking patterns.
