Chelsae and Frank Lampard are ready to offload midfielder N’Golo Kante.

The London side is reportedly willing to sell two-time and back-to-back Premier League champion, N’Golo Kante. Following the news at Stamford Bridge, it was said that Inter Milan and ex-Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, wants to reunite with the midfielder.

The Frenchman forms part of a few names the club wants to cut ties with, in the coming summer transfer window. Enlisting with Kante in the walk-off the Bridge will be Jorginho, Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri, Michy Batshuayi, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Davide Zappacosta.

More from Chelsea

N’Golo undoubtedly has options

Kante will have top teams lining up at his feet, almost begging for his services. Already there have been talks to follow his Stamford Bridge exit rumours, as stated above. Yes, this season is nothing to go by, but he is the man that once covered the entire world in 90 minutes of football.

They will be adding quality in-depth with him in the squad. If the player is on the move, there would be more than just the Italian side that would show interest in the unwanted man. Teams in the top-six could always use a Premier League winner and World Cup winner.

Not sure why Lampard can’t put him to good use. There are many others in the top six who could get the best out of him. Besides Chelsea being the worst conceding team of the big guns, Arsenal and Spurs have struggled to take charge of games against teams outside of the top six.

Man United proved last night they need to learn or possess a play that can clean up a game, keep it clean at the back, and provide space for players like Paul Pogba, who was ironically off form and needed assistance to explore his game better. He was subbed off in the 63rd minute of the game, due to the lack impact and was at fault for the Saints’ opening goal of the game.

Kante can help boss games around, chipping in with the odd goal or two. Goalscoring has never been his A-game. If he was to concentrate on one job as he does in the French team, he will execute his duties smoothly.

It must also be noted that when Chelsea uses Kante as a defensive midfielder they have an 80% win rate.

No game time for N’golo

The player in discussion is also set to miss out on the Blues next clash later this evening against the relegated, Norwich City. He was last use in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Watford, two Saturdays ago. This season hasn’t been the best and has seen one of his worst returns in the Premier League.

He would normally play the majority of games making 30 plus appearances on average. This season he has only played 22 times for the London side. Of the 22 games that he played, he started 20 of them. Chelsae has also lost more times than they have won with him on the pitch this term.

They’ve won as little as eight and lost as much as 10 Premier League outings with him in the side. The blues could rack in a good £60-£80 million for him but might have to drop their asking price due to the pandemic, his age, and his drop in form.

Will we see N’Golo Kante leave the Premier League after five years?
