Who is edging closer to safety and who is edging out of the English top flight?

Norwich sits in the bottom spot after another defeat in their fight for survival. The Cherries’ limited show against United places them in the second last spot and equal on points with Aston Villa (27 points), who sits in the final relegation slot. Valiant fights were shown but just not enough for wins for either of them.

Watford’s still in a lot of danger of getting knocked out of the Premier League and must present better consistency if they want to guarantee safety. West Ham too, far from safe but looking comfortable and appear to have found what is needed to survive.

More from Premier League

However, nothing has been as clear as black and white for all these relegation-threatened clubs. Due to arguably the most inconsistent form shown throughout the entire season by many Premier League clubs, we have six clubs fighting for survival.

The Canaries chances of survival have almost faded away, becoming more and more non-existent with each Matchday that passes. With five games left there are as few as nine points separating 15th and19th place.
