The team hitting three for three in the Premier League is Wolverhampton Wanderers.

One of the best teams, if not the best team back since the start of Project Restart is Wolves. With a bit of rest from the forced break and they’ve collected all the points up for offer. Nuno’s pack of Wolves have been hunting down their prey with ease.

They are the only club of the 20 teams to win all three fixtures on return. Chelsea must still play their third game back. If the Blues from the Bridge wins, they will be on par with Nuno’s men. A banging start against the Hammers where they won 2-0, and arguably one of the best performance of that round.

They followed their West Ham victory with a pair of 1-0 wins against Bournemouth and Aston Villa, respectively, collecting a total of nine points from the nine available.

More from Premier League

In the process, they haven’t even conceded a goal. Yes, they did not face Liverpool, Man City, or one any of their direct battles for Europe, but that is coming up shortly with Sheffield United up first and then a tasty treat when they welcome Arsenal to the Molineux Stadium. These clubs can close the gap on the Wanderers.

Nuno’s team has not only been consistent over the course of Project Restart. On the contrary, they have been fantastic from when they’ve re-entered the Premier League. Many thought they would start falling away and would start fighting for survival, but they have made themselves a serious threat in the Premier League.

No team likes to go and visit them, as their stadium has an outstanding atmosphere that gets the better of opponents. Wolves deserve all the success they’ve been getting and quite frankly, deserves a way into the Champions League.

We’ve seen United fail on the big stage, would prefer to see the Wanderers taking chances. Their team has produced the goods time and time again. If they add a couple of world-class players or potentially world-class, they’d be considered serious contenders for Premier League glory.

They currently sit in fifth place ahead of Man United, Spurs, Sheffield United, and Arsenal, respectively.
