The realistic buy, Adama Traoré

The Wolverhampton ace seems to be the talk of the town. The speed merchant just can’t stop making an impact, providing assist after assist. The Spaniard has improved under Nuno Espírito Santo and just continues to do so at a rapid rate.

He and Raúl Jiménez are almost telepathically connected. When Traoré puts the ball in the box the Mexican is there waiting to put the ball at the back of the net. The ex-Barcelona man transformed himself into a ‘mean machine’, having the strength and speed to take on any defence.

Traoré would ideally be the best option should Klopp seek to add an attacker, as he already has experience and exposure to the requirements of being in the Premier League. The Spaniard has 9 assists and scored 4 goals in 31 matches. He has a 74.3% dribbling success rate and has dribbled past 140 players.

More from The Top Flight

If Liverpool can fork out £70m for the 24-year-old winger, he would undoubtedly be the most fitting and perfect addition to the squad.

The only reason that Traoré may not want to make a switch over to Anfield would be his game time. He would more than likely want to start in most of the league games and Klopp will not drop his Egyptian star to the bench as they both play in the same position.

Who would be the best to buy?

If Liverpool can break the bank and manage to invest in two players, it would have to be Haverts and Traoré. They are young, dynamic and have plenty of talent oozing out of them. Both of these players would fit in perfectly and also help push the other players to improve.

The Reds need to show their determination now more than ever as they need to retain the Premier League title next season. Strong teams become stronger by recruiting talented and hardworking players. The Reds need to continue growing and ensure that they keep their players happy while striving to achieve even more.

Klopp has built something memorable and even though he has signed on until 2024, Liverpool must show the fans that they mean business now or even when the German manager has left the club.

With the American owners in a somewhat of a financial crisis at the moment, it would be a far cry to see too many big buys coming in. But hey, the fans were all surprised when the Reds paid big money for Allison and van Dijk, and look how that turned out.
