Thiago: Have Liverpool found the perfect transfer to suit their needs
The Reds have been linked with several targets for this summer, and most recently it has been, Thiago Alcântara.
During last week it was widely reported that Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago Alcântara has decided his time could be over at the Allianz Arena. The two clubs being named are Barcelona and Liverpool.
Barca will always be a move on the cards for the Spanish creator. Liverpool, on the other hand, has been in the market for a Philippe Coutinho replacement, with Naby Keita failing to fill in the void as he was intended to due to continuous injury issues.

Following the rumours of the player’s desire to depart from the 2019-2020 Bundesliga champions, the Bayern boss Hans Flick refuses to comment on anything regarding the player and his willingness to move on.
"I don’t think about it at all, that Thiago could leave us. I have always said that Thiago is an amazing player who can give a lot to a team. Therefore, I do not think about that at all.And I think after such a game and such a season, you have to accept as a journalist that not every question can be answered. (Via: Goal.com)"
The Spaniard has been at the club for seven seasons after he joined in 2013. He has contributed with 17 goals and 20 assists in 150 appearances for Munich. The player’s contract expires in 2021 at the end of next season. They will need to make money off the sale and not let him walk out the door for free. Business must be concluded anytime between now and next summer.
Liverpool links
The story tells us that Thiago will most likely head over to Anfield. What’s unclear is if it will be this summer or the next. The problem standing against this link is the player’s age. Everything expecting his age suits the Reds’ transfer profile.
The business itself has the Anfield side written all over it. They will be freeing up a lot of funds when you consider wages. They are cutting ties with Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri. If they can get Thiago on a cheap, they won’t have to worry about wages for him.
They have mentioned many times before there is no money to make big transfers. If so, then this is the type of business we can expect from Liverpool in the coming transfer window.
