Premier League: Bundesliga Players Who Could Be Coming to England
David Alaba could be playing his last few matches for Bayern Munchen in the coming weeks.
He has been linked to a couple of Premier League clubs. Chelsea and Manchester City seem to be the contenders for the German left-back.
Upon the first rumors of Alaba’s departure, Chelsea was the first team linked to him. The Blues had a lot of interest in him, but it’s cooled since. Chelsea could still make an offer for Alaba, but it seems unlikely as he has dropped down their list of potential left-back signings.

Manchester City is currently the favorites for David Alaba once Pep Guardiola confirmed Leroy Sane will not renew his contract with the club. Bayern Munchen said a few months back that they would be willing to sell Alaba if he does not sign a new contract. Alaba and money will likely be off to Manchester City in exchange for Leroy Sane.
This potential deal would be a lot better for City rather than Munchen. Man City already have Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva to play the wings. Adding Alaba gives them more depth in defense as this season has been tough with the injury bug hitting City’s defense.
For Bayern, they solve the problem of adding another wide attacker but also create a problem too. Currently, Bayern is short-handed on defense with Alaba playing at center back. Surely, his departure will create some issues in defense for the reigning Bundesliga champions.
The Premier League could soon be welcoming a couple of Bundesliga players. The transfer of Timo Werner could bring along many top talents from the German league. Safe to say, Bundesliga players seem to find more opportunities while playing in the Premier League.
