Wu Lei a replacement for Jiménez or Traoré?

Jiménez, one of the most underrated forwards around. The Mexican has already scored 13 goals this season and provided 6 assists in 29 matches played. He is an excellent forward, who gets in the box and can drop deeper to link-up play, which many teams do not have.

The possible inclusion of Lei can provide Wolves with more attacking options, however, the wing positions are already occupied by some talented players such as Diogo Jota, Pedro Neto, and Adama Traoré.

According to reports, Tottenham and Real Madrid are said to be interested in acquiring the services of Jiménez and if Mourinho gets his man then Lei would be his replacement.

Traoré the most likely to be replaced

Even though Spurs and Madrid may be interested in Jiménez it is very unlikely that the Mexican would make the move unless Kane gets sold or Benzema was on his way out.

The Spaniard, on the other hand, has been linked to many clubs and most recently Liverpool. The Reds will not be renewing Lallana’s contract, although they have agreed on a deal to extend to the end of the current season, with the new COVID-19 rules in place. Also potentially selling Shaqiri in the next transfer window will open up some space for wingers.

If Traoré makes the move over to Anfield, Lei would be the perfect winger to replace the Spaniard. The downfall is that the former Shanghai SIPG star has not been at his best since joining Espanyol and it would be huge gamble should he transfer over to the Molineux Stadium and the ever-demanding EPL.
