Revealed: PSG and Real Madrid are the pair of late entries in the race for out-of-contract, Willian.

Sport moil and the window wiper, the Sun, reports Chelsea’s Willian is wanted by more than just Arsenal and Spurs but also PSG and Real Madrid. There have always been mixed reports coming from the Stamford Bridge corner.

Talks of the player’s definite departure have never stopped, and small scripts of a possible stay have popped up on the odd occasion. Weighing up the two options he is faced with and judging by how late we are in the year, it’s safe to say June will be his last as a Blue, and possibly a Premier League player.

That’s also depending on the contract situations with clubs, players, and the possibilities of “mini deals” being put into place. This is where we will see those who were supposed to be out of contract come to the end of June, cancel their current deal at a later given stage.

Only half of the decision has been made by Chelsea wantaway, Willian. The weight of his future depends on his next decision which is what destination in Europe is best for him.

More from Arsenal

"Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have supposedly joined the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Chelsea winger Willian. The 31-year-old is out of contract at Stamford Bridge this summer and is widely expected to move on when his deal runs out. With both Arsenal and Tottenham set to struggle financially during the coronavirus pandemic, the possibility of snapping up Willian on a free transfer is said to be an attractive option for the two North London clubs heading into the summer window. (Via: Sportsmoil)"

Bad news for the North Londoners

It sounds like Arsenal and Spurs will come out second best throughout the entire transfer window. Both PSG and Real Madrid offer the least hostile atmospheres compared to moving over to one of Chelsea’s direct London rivals.

However, Willian is seeking regular game time and he will not be the first choice at any of the two other European giants. Money will be tight all over due to post-pandemic circumstances. So whoever can offer the best salary at this time will take the lead in this race.

Next. The only way Lallana can make himself relevant. dark

Then he would probably overlook game time and what his team importance will be. The one decision you must not be shocked about is if he turns around and signs a new deal at Chelsea. Fool for thinking this? Not so sure after Olivier Giroud did exactly this after always wanting to leave.
