The FA is in a gave and take situation with teams to help ease into the Premier League Project Restart and the playing phase, which should be the final one too.

Due to bringing the retake date of the EPL forward, clubs met the FA halfway, easing their stance on home and away fixtures. The talks of neutral venues are ongoing and a resolution that still stands to be utilized throughout the revival of the 2019-2020 Premier League campaign.

There is still a bit of concern because of fixtures possibly being rolled around, it could mean games might have to be played at other stadiums/or the same ballpark. It is being said, Liverpool’s title-clinching game could be brought forward and this is why they lose their right over home and away. They just want to lift that elusive EPL trophy.

Despite the call for neutral venues, most London clubs’ stadiums are said to be safe to host fixtures and some will be considered. Thankfully, the police have given the green light for this to proceed but as always advised, it must be carried out under protection fit for the royal family, making all of them as safe as a sanctuary.

Backing these claims that London is safe to proceed with games is the number of cases found around the Premier League in their treble of testing runs, with none of the positive cases coming from any of the London sectors.

"Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham avoid neutral Premier League stadiums as Liverpool and Manchester clubs moved. All Premier League matches in London are set to take place at clubs’ home stadiums, despite plans to relocate up to six top-flight matches to neutral venues when the season resumes.Despite fears that London derbies — including Tottenham’s home matches against Arsenal and West Ham — could be among the fixtures relocated, police do not consider any matches in the capital to be high-risk."

Getting things done in England

More from Premier League

As per the Evening Standard, games will run under severe planning. They are hoping to play all of the games over six weekends, starting from the 17th of June. They must, however, subdue to playing at neutral venues because of making this deal with Masters and co to start earlier than the 20th.

"The season will be played over six weekends and three midweeks up to July 25-26, while this morning the FA announced dates for the remaining rounds of the FA Cup. The quarter-finals will be played the weekend of June 27-28, the semi-finals on July 18 and the final on August 1.Up to six fixtures, including the game in which Liverpool could secure the title, are set to be moved, with authorities considering Wembley to be the ideal neutral stadium because it is easy to police. Waiting on…

The Premier League is the major sporting code leading the way in England and showing all other codes the ropes. The English government hasn’t given the thumbs up to this, so there is a lot riding on the football league’s success.

The date for the 17th could change and this comes straight from the boss, Richard Masters. It could either be taken back to a later date or brought forward to an even earlier time slot, not forgetting Monday, June 1 was the first date they looked at. So we can still expect some changes.

The biggest concern causing more hesitation than anything else is the fans and if they will show up to matches, even though they have been warned not to cluster together in large numbers. Friends and fellows supporters if you are reading this, please stay at home and let us watch the games on the tele together!
