Gareth Bale: The Welshman has started working on his Real Madrid exit
True, not true, but the fact remains Gareth Bale sounds fed up with his treatment in Spain as he speaks out on Real Madrid fans and their handling of him.
Not nice to hear when a player, fellow human, role model, is suffering from confidence issues because of fans, other humans, chanting negatively about them. Gareth Bale has spoken out about his time in Spain and how the fans “jeering him has hurt his confidence”.
The life of sports, you can’t play without fans in a stadium but you can remain positive without them around. Some fans epitomize what good banter is and know exactly where to draw the line. Then you get the fools who have probably never kicked a ball in their life or played a sport that is not on a 65″ TV screen, that have the most to say, and don’t know when enough is enough.

"We get a lot of pressure every game. If you don’t play well, there’s scrutiny. I’ve had 80,000 people in a stadium whistle at me because I haven’t played well. I’ve had it a few times! It’s not nice and it doesn’t do your confidence any good either. You would expect that if you’re not having a good time on the pitch, your fans would get behind you and try to help you do better because it’ll make them happy. But it seems that they do the opposite. In football, you might play amazing, not score for five games, and then everyone says you’re having a terrible time. You think to yourself that you’re playing well, you just haven’t scored or assisted. But people just like goals, assists and ‘wow’ things. Sometimes that doesn’t always happen. (Via: Sky Sports)"
Sometimes we forget they are only human
Bale is a world-beater in football. He has proven it time and time again. The best example of this is the 2018 Champions League finals. A player coming off the bench with little hope that he would be introduced at any time of the game comes and scores not once, but twice to win the finals for Los Blancos.
This is why they signed him back in 2013. To have amazing moments and be influential when called into action. Madrid got that in bucket loads, but he was sadly never the player they the fans wanted. It also appears a mistake in Madrid is almost punishable by death, emphasising on how they forget all ballers are only human.
There was even a case where his own supporters waited for him after a Barcelona defeat to attack his car. How far is too far? Where are some of these radical fans going draw the line? If they not going to stop, what’s the point of staying at the Santiago Bernabéu?
Working on a Real Madrid exit
If he is not, then he surely should be sooner rather before it’s too late. From the manager to the fans, the whole package at Madrid has been unkind to Bale and it’s time to cut ties.
There have already been talks of a Premier League return for Gareth old boy (forever since he left) and Newcastle is the latest team to be named as a possible landing location.
The Magpies are currently in the final stages of a major takeover. Talks surrounding the club’s buyout is who will be the manager coming in to take them to an elite level and who will be their first big-money signing.
Hopefully, this all materializes and he gets his ticket out of Spain. He must just make the move come the summer.
