Hurts to say it but it’s even harder to admit it’s a fact. No other team would fit like a glove more than Man United. The club, the squad, and history, everything stands in favour of the move.

United has Marcus Rashford yes. But without him and before the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, Man United lacked goals and an attacking threat. Rashford furthermore needs adequate competition, as he had in the departed, Romelu Lukaku.

When you start laying out all the facts, it’s almost too good to be true and would notice history is repeating itself in some shape or form. And while talking intensively about a United-Kane transfer, we cannot take away the fact the striker would exceed in any English club.

More from The Top Flight

Saying he will fit in at Old Trafford does not mean Liverpool and Man City won’t get the best out of him. It’s just with United, the status bar of the club and player moves into the green zone. Green being ultimately satisfactory.

Here is a list of factors supporting a United transfer

  • They never replaced Lukaku after his departure – Kane is the best fit for this
  • Kane would follow in the footsteps of Teddy Sheringham and Dimitar Berbatov, who both had stellar careers at Old Trafford
  • He is currently the England captain – Another player he’d be following is Wayne Rooney, who had a fairytale footballing life at the theatre where he played out his childhood dream
  • The English connection at the club should make the transfer a no-brainer
  • Playing with your international striking partner is beneficial to all involved, club and country
  • United will challenge on all fronts soon – If not next season then the following for sure
  • They are being linked to Jadon Sancho and have already acquired the service of Bruno showing their ambitions are far higher than the club he is at currently

Next. Aubameyang will end up in Spain. dark

I could show evidence all day on how successful Harry Kane would be if he joined United and how history has been unkind to us who supports rival clubs and funny to those wanting it to happen.

The only point left to be made, £200m is too much for a striker who is not even the best in the Premier League and in the world at the moment. If they can get the price down, it will be the sweetest deal.
