If Man United and Jadon Sancho flirted any harder before the summer transfer window opened, they’d be breaking all the social distancing rules during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In consecutive weeks England’s most acclaimed young talents, Jadon Sancho, has been the epicentre of a major transfer out of Borussia Dortmund to somewhere in his homeland England. The talks have gone from if he will make a switch to, how long before the announcement of his switch.
A question also fading is where will he end up. As per the last Top Flight report on Sancho, his transfer destination lands in Old Trafford, but a fight will be put up by Chelsea and latecomers, Real Madrid.

Fueling this, the price tag of £100m slapped on by Dortmund is forcing Liverpool to stay out of the race. He ticks all the boxes for Jurgen Klopp, making an excellent candidate for his Reds. Although, the asking price is a bit over their limit in their transfer strategy.
Sancho is dropping live hints on a United move
In the Sancho-United links, we discussed how Rashford and he have a close relationship, which inevitably helps in any transfer saga. After this, it was widely reported that United’s committee has been in ongoing contact with the BVB star during the COVID-19 suffering.
Move on a few days from their reports of intimate check-ins, the Evening Standard published the forward himself has dropped a cryptic hint on his Instagram, United appears to be his next career objective.
Sancho may have given his first indication that he is heading to Manchester during an Instagram Live session with his fans. The youngster was quizzed about several topics during the live broadcast and inevitably, the topic of his next club arose with a question from a fan.
Sancho was asked by a fan to “take a sip of water” if he was planning to join United this summer and the comment prompted a brief chuckle from the Dortmund man. (Via: Evening Standard)
This displays both parties (United and the player) are twerking publically (but cryptic) and hard for each other, weekly. Next thing we know, Sancho has a TikTok video with Paul Pogba, Rashford, and Drake on “Toosie Slide” titled “Announcing Jadon Sancho”.
Don’t count your chickens before they hatch
If things change (which is looking doubtful) don’t be too surprised. Anything can happen, and hijackings in the transfer window are becoming a normality. There are some big clubs monitoring the situation.
Besides Manchester being a preferred location, all United’s rivals have the cash to throw at the player and meet the asking price. To stop them from gaining one of the hottest English talents in world football would be enough motivation to steal him away.
