One cannot express the gloom and detachment one feels in the solitude of the COVID-19 era. A person feeling the weight of this with us is Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp.

Reds’ manager Klopp says the experience of the Coronavirus and not having his squad around him “hurts”. The Liverpool side has kept up with a tight training schedule during the call for social distancing, but appear to be in high spirits despite the dismay.

When watching the video of them gearing up for a virtual session it gives motivation we are not feeling it alone and having high spirits just what we need to get past this period of mankind evolution. We are living and writing another chapter in history that will be burnt into the books of humanity for centuries to come.

"It’s getting worse, the longer it takes. I accept the situation 100 per cent like it is but the longer you don’t see somebody you like, the more it hurts. When we have these training sessions, I could have never imagined I would enjoy it that much but it’s just the moment when I see the boys again and that changes everything. For a minute, for an hour, for two hours, however long the sessions are – the boys are all in good spirits; you feel immediately why you miss them so much, because it’s just an exceptional group. More from Liverpool FC

Klopp has treated Anfield and the Liverpool community as his extended family. He looks at his players like sons, colleagues like brothers, and so much more throughout the city. Klopp is missing his family. Heck, anybody’s workplace is a place you gain new and extended friends, family, and acquaintances.

All these factors make your everyday workplace feel like home. This is why they emphasise on you building a happy environment for yourself in your everyday lives. When you think about Klopp and him being in his feels during this testing time, what song, soundtrack, or movie comes to mind?

What gets you to the place where Klopp is at now? Here is a song that plays over and over in my mind all the while during the lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some words fitting for the feels. Don’t you think?

Hard to say I’m sorry

"Everybody needs a little time away. I heard her say. From each other. Even lovers need a holiday.Far away from each other.Hold me now. It’s hard for me to say I’m sorry. I just want you to stay. After all that we’ve been through. I will make it up to you. I promise to.And after all that’s been said and done. You’re just a part of me I can’t let go. Couldn’t stand to be kept away.Just for the day. From your body. Wouldn’t want to be swept away. Far away. From the one that I love (Hard to say I’m sorry)"

However, it’s been way too long to be away from it all

The first week was like the first line, “Everybody needs a little time away”. After week two of the lockdown or social distancing, it became more like “You’re just a part of me I can’t let go”.

Now after losing count of all the days, it feels like the final line, “Wouldn’t want to be swept away. Far away”.

What’s your song that relates to what Klopp is talking about here?
