Chelsea’s transfer targets fashion them serious title contenders next season
As mentioned previously, if they land 2-4 or 3-4 of their rumoured targets for the summer, they’d be third favourites for Premier League gold for sure.
First rumoured target – Striker Moussa Dembele
Firepower? Yes, some extra firepower is needed! When lead man Tammy Abrahams was out injured, the Blues found it hard to find the net on some occasions. Healthy competition for the Englishman, plus Champions League experience is what Abramovich is searching for.
Moussa is a good alternative to Timo, who’s been a hot target for most of the top clubs around Europe. With Liverpool and the player sharing a strong interest for each other, this move makes all the sense in the world.
Surprise link – Midfielder Philippe Coutinho
Imagine if Coutinho were to move to Chelsea? The next Fernando Torres with turns and bends in between before meeting up with the same fate as the Spaniard before. BBC reports Barcelona’s still looking for a new club for the no-show Philippe.
It is said the London side has made an approach for the midfielder. The EPL misses the Brazilian, and it’s clear to see he misses the English Top Flight. Whether he is willing to move over to Chelsea is still to be confirmed.
Anything will do now for both him and Barca. So he will again be an interesting transfer
Other targets worth the mention

Timo Werner and Jadon Sancho have been spoken about a lot and specifically with a move to the Premier League, but Chelsea is not the preferred location for both these young stars. The former has his heart beating for somewhere else. Zaha is the other player being named with every London rival to Crystal Palace. Not sure Chelsea is the place he will end up.
The latter? Same story as the first. The heart is homing in on another place, a preferred place. Anywhere in Manchester by the sounds of things. Liverpool surely won’t be willing to pay Dortmund’s asking price of £94m (€100m) and bid for Werner simultaneously.
The Reds will never go for both players who seek exit from the Bundesliga. It’s either-or, and judging by the Reds’ business mould, they will not splash the cash.
No other mentions actually needed as these are the players said to be the cream of the crop in their respective positions. If any of the above mentioned makes Chelsea their home, they can consider themselves one of the top three clubs in England.
