Werner is moving up on the list of every top team across Europe. Of all mentioned, Liverpool appears to be the club holding at the Timo cards.

Timo Werner has football fans in a frenzy, especially the Liverpool public. Since the window has closed and no move made for the Leipzig player, he now becomes the talk of a primary move to either stay in the Bundesliga or move abroad the summer.

Of all the discussions, predictions, and actual reports, it is strongly believed that England is the most suitable location, and that’s based on the player’s choice considering recent comments. The player also recently stopped following his own club’s Instagram account, giving further indication he will part ways with them soon.

January we were convinced Real Madrid would capture the striker, snubbing long admirers Munich and Liverpool, because they normally get what they want. The player’s name has really made its rounds with several different suitors coming in as fast as the change of days.

"Real Madrid was in for Timo during January but this was only after a load of other talks went around the media circuit. Immediately after Chelsea’s transfer ban was lifted, the German hitman was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. This also due to the Reds supposedly pulling out of the Werner race, following many months of being the most likely destination for the player. Not much has changed regarding the teams interested in him, but there has since been a development in the affection between Klopp and Timo. Quite frankly, a move to England is becoming more realistic.

Adding more fuel, the criteria of the job offer at Anfield appears to tick all the boxes for Timo in the development of his footballing career. Basically, Klopp owns so more factors to help influence the striker’s decision come the summer.

As far back as the summer of 2018, Leroy Sane has been linked with a switch to his homeland Germany. As the seasons went on links became stronger and more frequent till it eventually was published Munich will go all out for the transfer of Sane.

Rumours transpired and it was said that the deal was done between the German and the club. But this was wide off the mark. The player suffered a terrible injury during the FA Community Shield clash with Liverpool and is yet to feature for City. He has missed almost a full seven months of football.

He is back in training and a return to first-team football is imminent. As it stands, reports suggest Sane’s move is still on with Werner off, meaning he is free to join the Reds.

Timo Werner is for the future of Liverpool

If you don’t prioritise with your summer work, you’ll get left behind in the race. A saying that couldn’t be more spot on. Preparations have already begun for all the clubs in the world and if you can complete a deal now, it will save loads of time during the summer.

January was a massive window for some clubs, while others like Liverpool stayed away from any significant first-team signings. One addition made to bolster the bench, adding quality in cover. Every team has already gotten over the winter window and are making principal preparations for the summer window.

This is the Reds situation at the moment. They are getting ready for the future, short term and long. Werner fits into both those profiles and has flirted almost every week with the English club.

Fresh news gives the impression the deal is more likely to go through but will be structured like the Naby Keita one. They will sign him permanently but then send him back to Leipzig on loan for a season.

Not sure this is best for the club who has just scored their first two goals in 270 minutes of football. They need the prolific goalscorer in their dugout, rather than scoring goals somewhere else.
