Premier League: Chelsea entertains Tottenham in London derby and battle for 4th
It’s not so much the amount of injuries Spurs suffer from, it’s more the statue of the players missing from selection that is the worry.
Spurs must now try to earn UCL football without the service of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. These two are Jose’s top scorers in the game. Kane’s total of 11 and Son’s total of nine scored makes up almost half of Spurs 43 goals for the season so far.

So this part of their game will definitely be lacking without the two. Not to fear though, the additions of Steven Bergwijn and Gedson Fernandes should supply goals in their vacancies. So all is not lost for the “Humble One”.
The other denting factor for the North Londoners, the manager will use his hand and exclude the club’s third-highest scorer in the EPL this season. That player is out-of-form, Dele Alli. The manager spoke openly about the team and player, suggesting they were better against Leipzig without Dele on the pitch.
Jose Mourinho’s Champions League loss to RB Leipzig should not dampen the spirits of his North London side. They have been pretty good under the stewardship of Jose. Since the Portuguese has stepped in, Spurs have collected the most points (26), joint with Man City, and second to only Liverpool (42).
Jose’s men are the stronger team heading into this one. They are on a three-game winning streak in search of their fourth straight win for the first time this season. They have collected 10 points from four back-to-back games leading to this one.
It has been a better back-end of the season for Jose with a lot to still play for. They have only lost two games of the six played since the start of the year. Three points that will essentially give any of these two fourth place, which is up for grabs.
A point will keep the Champions League spot open for a number of clubs fighting for it. Sheffield United, Man United, Wolves, and Everton are the teams hoping for a draw as they watch on and wait for a result form this mouth-watering opener of Matchday 27 in the Premier League.
