Paul Pogba‘s name gets dragged into a media dispute by his agent Mino Raiola, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær. The two have been exchanging words for a while and it appears things have heated up once again.

Man United capped off their first Premier League double over Chelsea on Monday night. The two met at Stamford Bridge for a top-four clash. It was an event filled with everything the Premier League has to offer this season.

VAR, the two clubs, and many moments filled with drama and controversy transpired throughout the 90 minutes. Bruno Fernandes proved instrumental in the visitor’s victory, adding an assist to his name, in only his second feature for his new club.

Goals from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire were enough to see out Frank Lampard‘s Chelsea on home soil. Disallowed goals overshadowed the showdown, as well as a bad decision not to give Harry his marching orders for an absurd foul on Michy Batshuayi.

After certain things go unpunished and the world is unkind, these errors come back to haunt the teams on the receiving end. But we are not talking about what happened during the game it’s what all took place after.

During Solskjæ’s post-match discussions he was stern in his answers when asked about the £20 million per transfer money-making man.

"I don’t have to comment about Mino Raiola through the media, I can talk to him myself."

Pogba, Ole, and Mino. These names doing their rounds in the media nowadays for the wrong reasons. The men that are no doubt disrupting the United camp. It is a disruption to be broadcasting your thoughts on a manager and player in a difficult situation.

More from Premier League

In the one corner, we have the money-hungry agent, Mino Raiola, wearing white shorts with black stripes. In the other corner, we have the man fed up, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, in the red shorts. They go 12 rounds for the trophy, Paul Pogba.

"Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjær’s property. Paul is Paul Pogba’s. You cannot own a human being already for a long time in the UK or anywhere else. I HOPE Solskjær DO NOT WANT TO SUGGEST THAT PAUL IS HIS PRISONER.But BEFORE Solskjær makes comments about things I say he should inform himself better about the context of what has been said. I am a free citizen who can think and express my thoughts. Until now I was maybe nice to him. Solskjær should just remember things that he said in the summer to Paul.I think Solskjær may be frustrated for different reasons and is now mixing up some issues. I think that Solskjær has other things to worry about. AT LEAST IF I WERE HIM I WOULD. (Via: theguardian.com)"

Paul Pogba’s situation

The influential midfielder and World Cup winner has been strongly linked with a move to both Juventus and Real Madrid. He returns to full training with the boys this week, and a welcomed prospect I’m sure of it.

His return to action has come into question all the time, while at the same time becoming a scapegoat even though he didn’t even take a step on the field due to injury. They should be thankful they have him coming back at a time they cut the points down to three away from Chelsea’s fourth place after the win.

Next. Arsenal making progress on new Bukayo Saka contract. dark

Then they are two points behind Spurs, and one point behind Sheffield United, plus the Europa League is all there for the taking, with the club bolstered including new personnel. Expect more to come of this in his pre-match press conference fo the Europa League.
