Who is the Premier League going to look to next in order to take on Liverpool and stop their unbeaten spell? Are Man City their only realistic and worthy opponents?

The champions of Europe, as well as of the world, are looking exceedingly dedicated in taking the one title that has eluded them for 30 years. But in this time of unlimited triumph, they are compelled to stay grounded and humble with each victory after years of close calls and heartbreaks.

The club from Anfield, Merseyside has stretched their point gap between themselves and title-rivals Man City, to 19 points. It would take a lot of kidnappings and caught drinking at training for them to fall off the wagon.

More from Liverpool FC

Liverpool completed consecutive victories after winning the fallen United, new generation Wolves, and grappling West Ham. All three games the Reds secured two goals with the Wanderers the only team to apply pressure with a goal reply in their meeting.

The other two encounters, a set of clean sheets and six points taken. Of the three, only Wolves were considered real competitors for Klopp’s men. And rightfully so after nearly stealing a point or all from the clash.

Who will try to beat Liverpool next?

Back in the days, it would be easy to judge where this Anfield side would drop points, even if they were to take on a team outside of the top six. However, since making significant changes all over the pitch, the Reds are just not the opponents you want to face, period!

Many games they have taken the three points by narrow margins, 2-0, 1-0, or 2-1, giving the impression they can be beaten. Yet, when they’ve taken on some of the big guns home or away, they have been comprehensive in their gameplay, thrashing any contenders for the EPL title this season.

The Premier League will look too…

Southampton is a shout, yet, they play them at Anfield, a place no team wants to visit in search of points. So where exactly is it that we could see Liverpool lose their first game of the season?

Possible points dropped

  1. Everton vs. Liverpool – New manager Carlo Ancelotti has his first Goodison Park clash with a side he has already beaten this season. But is his new team Everton up for the task after the embarrassment suffered in the FA Cup at Anfield?
  2. Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace – Was always their voodoo team
  3. Man City vs. Liverpool – This was the last Premier League game they lost and that was back in January of 2019. Pep is certainly the only person that can stop a Reds’ flawless campaign.
  4. Arsenal vs. Liverpool – This will just be a fun watch. Arteta has made a difference and this could be his time to shine.

Next. Fantasy Premier League GW25. dark

These are the only games I feel Liverpool are likely to drop points or fail at going unbeaten. If you tally this up, the Premier League crown is already theirs.
