The Hare and The Tortoise Update

Not a great week for either, unfortunately. Neither team had Rashford, neither of them has Aguero and they both captained Vardy for just 10 points.

It’s starting to feel like a failed experiment on both counts as neither tactic works that well for FPL. You need to be able to move on players who just aren’t working out, or even make sideways moves to jump on form players (the Tortoise held Salah over Mane for way too long).

But equally taking dozens of hits automatically loses you points and pushes you further down the rankings before the Gameweek has even started.

TTF Mini League

Stephen Aherne remains top by a whopping 44 points, although his lead was cut down slightly after an average game week score of 56. He currently sits at just 291 in the world, which is an incredible achievement!

We did have someone in the league who joined the 100 club this week. Patrick Low got exactly 100 thanks to captain and hat trick hero Aguero, helped along by double Liverpool defence, Salah, KDB and an interesting Man United triple of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood!
