Fixtures

Here’s the updated version of my fixture tracker:

  • Liverpool have the fixtures and the form. You should have 3 of them NOW
  • Bournemouth have the fixtures but absolutely no form!
  • West Ham and Norwich are still in serious trouble with neither form nor good fixtures

Stats

GW22

  • Salah topped the charts for touches in the opposition box joint with Jesus on 14
  • Ings had the most shots with 9 with 8 in the box, backing up his credentials as a great FPL asset (Aguero was close behind with 7)
  • Ings and Jesus also tied for big chances with 3, each only scoring 1, while Aguero and Rashford had 2 each and converted them both
  • It was a good weekend for young wing-backs as Brandon Williams had joint-most touches in the box for a defender (5, same as Robertson) while Reece James had the most shots with 3
  • It was almost like old times as David Silva created more chances than anyone else (5), but Fleck, Norwood and Mata created joint-most big chances with 2 each
  • Aurier, Digne and Reece James each created 3 chances from defence

Must Read. Man United need to find Pogba replacement. light

GW17-22

  • Is it Salah time? The Egyptian has come back to the top for touches in the box with 52 and is joint 5th overall for shots with 19
  • Rashford has had the most shots in this period with 23, and Mahrez is close behind with 21 after an extended run in the City starting XI
  • Jesus has also had a good run with Aguero injured, and he has had 10 big chances, almost double Ings in 2nd with 6
  • A lot has changed over Christmas with Buendia now top for creativity with 28 chances (4 big chances) and KDB way down in 5th with just 16
  • Deulofeu has flourished under Pearson and tops creativity for attackers, creating 11 chances
  • A few stats on Liverpool’s defence as well (note I have included their GW16 as well due to the BGW18 so it compares all teams last 6 matches)
    • Fewest shots conceded
    • Fewest shots on target conceded
    • Fewest chances conceded
    • Fewest big chances conceded
    • They are impenetrable
