Top Picks

Kevin De Bruyne (MID, 10.7m, Crystal Palace at home)

Man City were back to their rampant best against a crumbling Villa side. KDB was at the centre of everything good in their play and picked up 2 assists with some excellent passes. At this point, he’s a necessity just because he’s owned by over 50% of managers! But he also offers consistency of starts and returns in a City team that is very hard to predict but guaranteed to score goals.

Jamie Vardy (FWD, 10.0m, Burnley away)

Last week I questioned the sanity of people selling Vardy and I still can’t understand why you would. He didn’t score against Southampton but got an assist to continue his astonishing run of returns. Since GW7 (that’s 16 weeks) he has failed to return in just 2 weeks in which he has played. That’s incredible and makes him a must-own.

Danny Ings (FWD, 6.8m, Wolves at home)

Yes, I’ve done a full 180 turn and have brought in the man I continually advised against. Ings simply cannot be ignored with a consistency of returns similar to Salah or Vardy! Since the 9-0 thrashing by Leicester, the Saints have turned their season around and Ings has been central to that, scoring in all but 3 games.
