While Pogba is out injured, it will be hard for him to force a move away. But once he is fit and he has completed the remainder of the campaign, he will be out the doors at the Aon Training Complex.

During this January, it should be United’s priority to get in Pogba’s successor. There are many options to consider just to ensure they hit their target for the summer coming. They can sign a player and send him back to where he came from to end the season off.

The other option is to get him in early, let him play and adapt to the plan now as early as possible. Whether he will clash with Pogba (if Paul is still here by the time January ends) is up for debate at a later stage.

Of all the scenarios, the former is the best decision though. They need the insurance next season they won’t be stuck without an influential player while needing to raise Paul’s price tag. Below we can see the loss Manchester will be great already, after signing him for a record-breaking fee of £89.3 million.

Holding on till the next summer

More from Manchester United

It will be a sour time from now running up until the next transfer window. It will be a long season for the midfielder, as will it be for the club. Will they be able to change his mind? Solskjær and United would like to think so. Although I believe the damage is done already.

Some of the United legends have been slagging him off for a large part of his time at Old Trafford, and it hasn’t exactly helped in convincing him to stay at the club. The club still stands a damn good chance of getting back into the Champions League.

They currently occupy fifth place in the league standings and are only five points behind Chelsea. There are still 48 points left to play for in the league. So CL football could be a pull, but not strong enough maybe.

Man united must squeeze the most out of him to get his market value up. He has been their most influential player for the past couple of season, or arguably, ever since arriving at Old Trafford. So it shouldn’t be hard for him to strut his stuff again.
