With each month that passes, Man United are looking more destined to lose their star midfielder Paul Pogba to either, Real Madrid or Juventus.

Summer after summer goes by and the narrative has not changed the slightest bit for Ole and his predicament with Paul Pogba. Even the links of the respective destinations have not altered into other locations.

No, on the contrary, the same duo of Europe’s elite want the World Cup winner’s signature. And because of this, it has been hard for him to stay focused on the Ole project with such tempting options dangling in front of him.

Since the summer

It hasn’t been easy for the mid man this term as an ankle injury has hampered his playing time since September last year. It was first anticipated his return would be as early as November, where he was to feature in their six-goal comeback against Sheffield united.

Sadly for the Frenchman, his comeback party was pushed back, making a return for only two outings during the congested festive period. This is where they lost one and drew one. Since then, he is yet to make a return to action for Man United.

The club and the manager are hopeful they get him back in time for the Wolves game which is said to be just after the “winter break”. He has made as few as seven Premier League appearances while contributing to two goals only. Those assists came way back on the opening day of the 2019-2020 campaign.
