The Hare and the Tortoise

It’s has been a fruitful couple of weeks for both teams. The tortoise managed just 43 in GW14 but then scored 70 and 78 in the last couple of weeks.

It had a massive slice of luck in the midweek matches with Salah and Tomori being rested, meaning Dendoncker (11) and Rico (9) came on instead.

The Hare also managed 45, 71 and 73 with no hits in that time, although there is likely one coming this weekend with the likes of Tomori, Fredericks and Pulisic hanging around not doing much.

The decision to go without a Man City attacker has paid dividends, especially as their 4-1 win in midweek saw goals for lesser owned players such as Jesus, Rodri and Mahrez.

The Top Flight Mini-League

Andrew Maclean’s Come On My Son were knocked off top spot but reclaimed it over the weekend with a strong score of 64.

He went for Ings and it has clearly paid off, alongside Son, Jimenez and captain Vardy. Interestingly he still has his Sterling/KDB double up and no Liverpool attackers!

Top scorer this week goes to Harpreet Singh and their team KDDK, after playing the triple captain chip on Kane to devastating effect (although the vice of Cantwell was an interesting choice).

Helped along by Baldock’s excellent performance, Son’s wonder goal and Maddison (but no Vardy), KDDK managed to break the 100 point barrier and score 102.
