Top Picks

Jamie Vardy (FWD, 10.1m, Norwich at home)

GW8 was the last time Jamie Vardy failed to score. GW9 was the last time Norwich kept a clean sheet. He can’t stop scoring and they can’t stop conceding so surely it’s a match made in FPL heaven!? If you don’t have Vardy yet, you’re not doing FPL right.

Sadie Mane (MID, 12.3m, Watford at home)

Mane has returned in 5 of the last 6 GWs in which he played (obviously not including last weekend when he was rested). He also has 5 double figures returns (Vardy has 6) so we know the explosive potential is there. He’s had his rest and needs to give FPL managers one last gift before missing GW18 for the Club World Cup.

Watford are his opponents this week and, much like Norwich, they keep conceding goals. They are on to their 3rd manager of the season (never a good sign) and sit firmly in the relegation spots. Easy pickings for the team seemingly destined to win the title next May.

Tammy Abraham (FWD, 7.9m, Bournemouth at home)

Fresh from a Champions League goal in midweek that put Chelsea through to the knockout stages, Abraham is surely going to reward owners with another return against Bournemouth. He also has 5 double-figure hauls this season and faces a defence we know can concede plenty of goals (3 vs Leicester, City and Liverpool so far this season).

If you sold Abraham for Rashford or Ings then you’ve done well but you should bring him back into your team for home matches against Bournemouth and Southampton in the next 3!
