Fixtures

Here’s the latest output from my fixture rating tool.

Spurs have got the fixtures to match their form and you should be aiming to get at least one, if not more of Son, Alli, Kane or Moura (probably in that order of preference).

Bournemouth’s fixtures are getting better and could provide some interesting differentials.

Man United also have a strong run coming up, making Rashford or Martial good prospects.

Arsenal’s fixtures are taking a downturn, not good news for whoever gets the job on a permanent basis!

Stats

GW16

  • The Duncan Ferguson revolution at Everton started in style as Calvert-Lewin topped the shots charts with 6 (joint with Jota and Kane)
  • City players occupy spots 1 (Sterling, 19), 2 (David Silva, 16) and 4 (Jesus, 10) for touches in the box, but it couldn’t help them overcome Man United (Salah was 3rd with 13)
  • A total of 6 players had 2 big chances, but only Vardy and Calvert-Lewin scored both of theirs
  • Leicester dominated Villa with Jonny Evans taking the most shots of any defender (4, all in the box)
  • Buendia, KDB and Maddison were creators in chief this week with 5 each, interestingly forgotten man Iheanacho was top for strikers with 4
  • Jimenez also created 4, but 3 of those were big chances, although he was let down by his teammates as he only got 1 assist

GW11-16

  • A new leader has emerged for total shots, with Jimenez hitting 28 in the last 6 GWs, followed by Rashford and KDB on 22 each
  • Jimenez also took 23 of those shots in the box but was beaten for shots on target by FPL hero Jamie Vardy (13 vs 11)
  • Sterling is still a long way ahead for touches in the box with 82 (Jimenez is second with 54), but that hasn’t stopped managers selling him en mass after just 1 goal and no assist in 6 GWs!
  • It should come as no surprise that Vardy is top for big chances on 12 (he has buried 6 of those)
  • It should also be unsurprising that Lundstram tops the attacking stats for defenders, seeing as he is playing in midfield! 15 shots (1st), 5 big chances (1st) and 12 penalty box touches (6th)
  • TAA has slowed down on the chance creation with just 14, allowing KDB to get back on top with 24 (joint with Maddison)
  • It bodes well for Jimenez owners that he is also the top creator of all strikers with 15
