Liverpool: Emre Can running around in dilapidated pastures at Juventus
No! This not to say that the club is on a run in certain ruins. On the contrary, Maurizio Sarri and Juventus are quite equipped and have been sound without him.
The German who thought when leaving Liverpool the grass was greener on the other side, walked straight into times of the past, times prior to his life at Anfield. His time in Germany was much like it is now and a move away from his boyhood club, Bayern Munich was the only option.
This is where he found salvation at Anfield and in Liverpool. Emre arrived on the Merseyside shores back in 2014, he soon grew into a first-team regular under ex-manager, Brendan Rodgers. And not much changed after his (Rodgers) sacking, as Jurgen Klopp relied on the German, trusting him to play wherever the manager needed his services.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end and their relationship ended after a two-season standoff over him signing a new contract, which ultimately led to him not signing and leaving in the worst invested way possible, on a free transfer.
This was back in 2018 after their miserable Champions League loss, where Can walked out the door a Reds no more. He assumed life would be the same in Italy and Juventus were ready to hand him that first-team golden ticket. But he lied!
Emre Can’s not happy
"I’m not happy (at Juventus) right now. I don’t play much at the moment. Last season I played a lot. Especially in important games for Juventus. And I also played well there. I haven’t had a chance this season. But now I think, when I come back to the club, I will get chances again.I am definitely grateful to Joachim Low. Because I didn’t play much in the club and he invited me anyway. Nevertheless, he gave me the chance. That’s why I was simply happy that I played again."
Klopp and Liverpool laughing
Klopp was always building a great and lasting thing at Anfield. It was for the players to decide and it was their own choice if they wanted to invest in his ideology. Sadly on two occasions, Klopp was left in disappointment as not only Emre Can left but Philippe Coutinho as well.
However, turn the clock a few years on and the ones who are laughing the loudest are Jurgen Klopp and his successful Reds. A Champions League trophy in the cabinet and in a continuous battle for the league title is how they responded to the loss of two important players.
