It has been the talk of the summer for Liverpool. Besides the silence in transfer business, the potential return of Philippe Coutinho has split the Red nation in two.

What are you gearing up for exactly in this transfer saga? Another three-way media standoff between Liverpool, Barcelona and Philippe Coutinho? Only this time the shoe’s on the other foot.

Still, there are no guns pointed at the shoe Liverpool now wears, giving them the power in the transfer scenario. In need of a playmaker but not desperate to sell their foot for it. Also, this transfer news is a bit all over the place.

More from Liverpool FC

At the age of 27-years-old Liverpool and Klopp would focus their energy and money into a younger and more long-term creator for the middle of the park. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on his return to challenging for a first-team place again.

He will have to fight for his place, as there has been little news of Liverpool being under significant threat of losing one of their key players from the starting 11 or 14 first choices. New contracts have been signed and handed out like at an old Oprah Winfrey show.

Liverpool’s business has been more about entertaining the current stock at the club. Nonetheless! A Coutinho loan move doesn’t sound too bad. It actually sounds more intriguing than a permanent arrangement at the moment.

Anfield far more forgiving compared to Camp Nou

Feeling the burn of the evil stares from the Barca fans in his back. The boos that dent his confidence in almost every mistake he’s made. The brown grass that grows under his feet where he imagined greener pastures. Camp Nou has become Camp No for the Brazilian.

The Anfield crowd, on the other hand, have just been split in two regarding their once go-to-guy. But, they have been applauded for their forgiveness and have been taken to the cleaners at the same time for probably being over the top, and extending forgiveness to the wrong players.

One example… Luis Suarez, enough said! If they could forgive the Uruguayan Hungry Lion, they surely can forgive a back injury-faking Brazilian. There are major differences between the two ex-Red offenders’ offences.

In a quiet transfer window as well, this wouldn’t seem all that bad. Imagine the return of one of your most lethal goal scorers from outside the box? He will add goals, hard work, add as another outlet capable of playing in multiple attacking positions and can open up any defence with him facing his own net.

Who would say no to that?
