The Champions League winners have been quiet during the transfer window. Like others, Liverpool has only been rumoured to want a list of players, but nothing transpiring into a reality.

The Reds of Merseyside have really turned things around as a full conglomerate. Not only have they transformed their performances on the pitch, but also behind closed doors.

Klopp and his committee have really taken the term “behind closed doors” to a serious level. Yet, not one person could disagree with their media silence across the last couple of windows.

They almost lost one of the most influential transfers because of leaking the story before clubs involved actually knew the deal was over.

No repeat of Southampton is wanted by Liverpool. Rather, more business like the secret signing of Fabinho from AS Monaco last summer. While the Reds of Manchester prematurely celebrated the arrival of the defensive midfielder, he was busy slipping on the red of Liverpool.

He’s racked up 28 goals and 14 goals for the 2018-19 run. He is a master playmaker in the making and already a clinical finisher in front of goal. Any team lacking creativity will be in for Bruno Fernandes and that’s exactly what has happened.

The latest “quiet talks” have surrounded Liverpool and a move for Bruno. If rumours are true, Liverpool is about to once more pull off one of the best deals during the summer window.

He has been strongly linked with a move to one of the Manchester clubs, with Citizens having the early lead but then reportedly losing it to United, the team who produced the strongest links with Portugal international.

Is history about repeat itself?

I’d have to share a big laugh if it does repeat itself. Another player wanted and needed by one of the Manchester clubs, ready to pull them a dirty to become a scouser?

Times have really changed and the Klopp effect continuous to seduce the top prospects away from his biggest rivals for the Premier League, which will certainly weigh in their favour if the secret summer signing of Fernandes ensues.
