Always liked this young man. When he was busting the goal net at the World Cup in 2014, in Brazil I couldn’t wait to see what top club signed Origi.

It was just a case of seeing him regularly play in the English Premier League, and not long after it occurred. Divock Origi made the switch from Monaco to Liverpool and was becoming a Red from Anfield.

Soon after putting pen to paper, he jetted back to the club he came from and stayed there for the duration of the campaign. The season went by and Divock was back at Anfield ready to go.

Sadly, his time in the Premier League hasn’t been consistent enough and the anxiety of knowing an Anfield exit might come any day was always playing on his mind. What added distress to his Liverpool career, he was getting injured far too often.

Now it appears the player is back and always on the bench for Klopp. But the question is, is he in Klopp’s plans and what are Klopp’s plans? Jurgen has been called out for not having a plan B and honestly, Divock is the solution to that plan B.

How if Roberto Firmino is there?

Well, the two can play together. Roberto Firmino has the talent to play anywhere from the midfield to the frontline.

If the Belgian steps in, the Brazilian doesn’t have to step out. He could just drop deeper into the CAM position, or any of the front slots can swap around to suit Origi. It worked during their victory in the week. They did it without the services of the Brazilian.

Divock has all the tools to succeed on the wing and down the middle. In the Watford game, he played on the left side and Sadio was deployed as the target man up front. Origi worked hard and pressed as any of the others in that role would do for Klopp.

The braided man was rewarded with a goal and had a major hand in the five-goal thumping handed to the Hornets. In the few appearances (10) he’s featured in for Liverpool in all competitions, he’s chipped in with three goals and one assist. That’s a great stat that proves he mostly has an impact on the game when he is involved.
