Arsenal and Chelsea are both set to run out on the pitch later this evening. Both London clubs play teams they should be taking the advantage from when heading into the next leg.
There are an extensive amount of 16 fixtures to play out this evening, with one already having a result after playing out the earliest of all. That clash saw Zenit fall to one goal on their travels to Fenerbahce.
Coming soon are the other 15 matches which include Chelsea’s trip to Malmo FF, and Arsenal’s trip to BATE. The two should be winning their respective fixtures and should have no hassle in doing so.
Both teams came out of the group stages of the Europa League unmatched. Only one fixture saw them drop points and two points at most. They proved to be the best competitors for the trophy but now face another type of combat against the near misses from the Champions League.

Malmo vs. Chelsea
Malmo is the most decorated club from the Swiss Top Flight. They were runners-up to Belgian club Genk. They qualified in second place with ease and had a good run over six games. They did do well to overcome the other group favourite, Besiktas.
With this at mind, it’s safe to say they haven’t faced opposition such as Chelsea and will meet for the first time in both clubs’ history. Expecting the Stamford Bridge side to win as they need to return back to winning ways, and there’s no better way.
BATE vs. Arsenal
This will be the second time BATE welcome English opposition to their lands. The Belarusian club was the team to qualify in second place under Chelsea in Group L.
BATE was unsuccessful in both attempts when they played Sarri’s men. Unai will be hoping for the same fate for his men. Unai and Sarri, the men from England both have fully-fit squads, giving them all the tools to get the job done.
If the two’s form remains as bad and inconsistent as it has been for the past month, they in for some work this evening.
