Liverpool: The PSG midfielder rejects Tottenham for Reds preference
Snub over here and a snub over there, not the first case of this as another player is reported to hold out for an Anfield move.
Liverpool has seen little to almost no movement into the club this winter window. The only moves made are those of players heading out of the club. Despite them having a major crisis at the back, having a host of injuries, little looks like changing Klopp’s transfer plans.
The Reds face a testing trial in the next month or so, with Joe Gomez struggling to get fit. Trent Alexander-Arnold still unsure and Lovren as well. The only upside has been Joel Matip’s return to fitness.
One thing is certain about the Reds, they won’t rush into any panic buys before the window closes. If they were to make any signings, they have three days left to complete any deals.

Before the window opened, Liverpool and PSG midfielder, Adrien Rabiot has been linked on a regular occurrence. A list of clubs is set to be in for Adrien Rabiot and as of yesterday, Tottenham was the closest to moving in for the young Frenchman behind Barcelona. Rabiot has not renewed his contract at his current club, PSG.
Since he hasn’t renewed, the player has made it no secret where he wants to take up his trade next season, with him mentioning Liverpool and Klopp, over and over. As reported by the mirror, Adrien was supposed to be a Barcelona player, having him head over to the Camp Nou at the start of next season on a free.
However, nothing has come of the transfer talks and maybe the player could be holding out for life at Anfield. Klopp and his transfer committee have flown under the radar on many occasions. This has s similar effect.
Nevertheless, Klopp has spoken out about his midfield, suggesting he was happy with the personnel occupying his midfield slots. Tottenham is in need of the mid man, the transfer made all the sense in the world. Only problem, the North London club’s problems go beyond having a lack of midfielders.
