English Premier League: Matchday 23 – Satisfying Saturday with eight matches on the day
You either watching your club keep their lead at the top, or you’re looking for a relegation battle. That or your club is fighting for a European aperture. It’s all right here.
Wolves and Leicester set the pace as the clock counts down for Claude Puel. Both teams play for that eighth place that the Foxes control. Puel has been tipped to be the next manager to see the doors with the club suffering from inconsistency in results. The Wanderers must recover from their 3-0 setback against Man City, Monday past.
After they raise the curtain for the day and the weekend, the busiest period features the log leaders Liverpool. Liverpool’s voodoo team, Crystal Palace takes a trip to Anfield, looking to put another hand in the title race. Liverpool is the first of the two factions playing for the Premier League title to take to the pitch over the weekend.
They joined by on the rise Man United, who stands the biggest chance to go into fifth for the first time since the start of the season. Ole is on a roll and his letting his United team join in on the fun as all around Old Trafford feel the United way for the very first time.
Brighton’s Old trip Trafford comes at the worst time possible. They play a United side in search of their seventh victory in a row. Chris Hughton’s Seagulls’ had some considerable trouble on the road and this United tie will not go any easier.
Watford must take points with the Wolves and the Foxes playing each other. They’d be hoping for a point shared in that one. Gives them breathing room if they were to succeed in their examination against Burnley. Dyche’s men are on the up and want to make it four wins a row since their Goodison Park ordeal.
West Ham faces a real test when they head over to the Vitality Stadium and play Bournemouth. The Cherries are long overdue for a win, winning only one game in their last 12 Premier League outings. So they will be wanting it more than West Ham, but the West London side is not to be taken casually. They’ve been working hard to climb that Premier League table.
