Only two days of Premier League football, Saturday and Sunday. Eight games to motivate the way for a merrymaking weekend of high obtained English football.

16 Premier League clubs play out over eight fixtures on Saturday, followed by the last four teams playing in some Super Sunday action. Why so little action on Sunday and no Monday Night Football? That’s because we have the pleasure of some midweek action coming on both, Tuesday and Wednesday for Matchday 24.

So the sacrifice of a day to cater for double action in one week, is it worth it? Hell yeah, it is! A double dosage of one of your most favourite treats in the world… Nothing wrong with that I’d say. So what can we expect from all the drama ready to unfold on Saturday? Here is the bulky list of games for the day of Matchday 23.

Matchday 23 Saturday fixtures

Wolves vs. Leicester City
Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace
Watford vs. Burnley
Newcastle vs. Cardiff City
Man United vs. Brighton
Bournemouth vs. West Ham
Southampton vs. Everton
Arsenal vs. Chelsea

If you were to ask what fixture would be the best of the day, it would be a tough question to answer. From the first kick off to yet another London derby, Saturday is swelled with excellent meetings.
