You can do many things in the world, but to disagree with a club legend is hardily ever one of those things.
Manchester United clocked another winless event when they hosted Spanish side Valencia, at Old Trafford last night. This was their second fixture of the group stages taking place this week and as far as results go, Man United came up short and was disappointing to say the least.
When thinking Champions League and the Red Devils run over two games, it hasn’t been that bad for them. They sit second, behind Group H favourites, Juventus. They’ve so far calculated a win and a draw. The problem following Saturday was not the result alone last night, but the manner in which they managed a draw.
The Old Trafford side has only collected 10 points from the seven games played in the English Premier League. This leaves them in 10th place with three wins, a draw, and three defeats. Wait it doesn’t end there… They have now gone four games without a win, placing further doubt on the future of Jose Mourinho.
It’s the final countdown…

Last night was one of those nights where you could see the frustration on current Man United players, and legends of the past. Both, David Beckham and Gary Neville were pictured in the stands of Old Trafford during United’s stalemate draw.
The two looked as if they were watching one of the worst Champions League games in the history of football. When pictures like these get taken, things start to happen, and decisions start changing.
After the match ended and all things United were still miserable, English midfielder and United legend, Paul Scholes took advantage of an open floor, taking his time to speak about United and their issues.
One things for sure… Scholes was on par with his points made. Questioning Jose’s methods when speaking to the press. Throwing players under the bus he parks ever so boastfully. Telling the media it’s the players not doing their part. Basically, an escape goat after escape goat for the Portuguese man.
The pundit labelled Mourinho as “embarrassing”. Strong words but true. Almost two decades of building done prior to his and others’ arrivals, laid to waste in the valley of feces in about two seasons. And in all fairness, be it that you from a rival club or a fallow United supporter, it is quite embarrassing to be associated with Manchester United at this moment in time.
The question once again becomes, when will he be sacked, rather than, will he be sacked. Times ticking away for the once “The Special One”, who should now be labelled “The Doomed One”.
