Burnley 0-2 Manchester United

While it wasn’t a blowout, this was exactly what Manchester United needed to get their confidence back. Lukaku was the go-to player with 2 goals. His first strike was in the 27th minute and the other was in the 44th minute. Alexis Sanchez assisted in the first goal. Rashford got sent off in the 71st minute but Burnley were unable to capitalize.

While it may have seemed to be a one-man show, there were quite a few United players that looked dangerous. Shaw kept play after play alive. Lingard was not afraid to shoot the ball. And Sanchez was a constant thorn in Burnley’s side. Speaking of Burnley, their defensively-dominant season from last year seems to be ages away. Joe Hart isn’t as good as the injured Nick Pope and teams are finding a lot of space between their defenders. This game had plenty for each team to think about.
