The press has linked the Real Betis Star as one of the new Irons’ target for the upcoming season. Is he a good name to play in the London Stadium this coming season?
According to the latest reports from Spain, England and Italy, West Ham are close to signing, Antonio Sanabria. The news was released by Estadio Deportivo, which claims the striker who formerly played in AS Roma might play in East London, with the Hammers launching a €22.5 million bid to have him.
He’s one of the top names on the Pellegrini list. With him only being 22, the Paraguayan star notched 11 goals with Gijon two seasons ago, and netted 12 goals for Real Betis. His strength are aerial duels and direct free-kicks, whilst his biggest weaknesses are passing, and when holding the ball.

The bad news is that he suffered a knee injury in December, which forced him to miss the rest of the campaign after surgery. Before getting lost to injury, he scored eight goals in 850 minutes, in La Liga last season.
Betis are expecting a good bid to sell him
As stated by the press, Betis are expected to say no to a possible transfer of Sinabria. However, they will definitely ask for more before selling him, as the strikers is one of the best players in the team. This is good news to Roma, who would win a sum of the money as it’s part of the deal they signed when the player went to Betis in 2016.
It’s a great name to be one of the alternatives to Chicharito, or even Arnautovic. Initially, he couldn’t be in the starting 11, but if he shows what people expect of him, he’d send Javier Hernandez directly to the bench.
The Irons‘ fans are expecting a great season with the latest signings of Felipe Anderson and Jack Wilshere, just to mention a couple. We don’t know if it’ll happen but if it is confirmed, it just sends a message that at least in this summer market, the Hammers showed great ambitious.
