The last rumours claim that Stanslav Robotka is looking for a move to Tottenham. Will he be a perfect fit to Pochettino’s style of play?

As it was said before, the Slovakian midfielder has recently been linked to a move to Spurs. As stated by many reports, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to pay his £31 million release clause to have him on board this coming season. Whilst his contracts only expires in June of 2023, it could be a tricky transfer to pull off.

Having superb vision, control of the match and defending, he is the perfect piece to increase Pochettino’s level of squad. Plus, he adds a lot of pressure, on and off the ball, helping the defensive game at Celta De Vigo last season.

More from Premier League

Because of his technical ability, Football Whispers has named him as the perfect player to be part of the English Premier League, saying that he is one of the most exciting midfielders in Spain.

His style of play reminds them of the retired, Thiago Motta and Xavi. His strengths are passing and concentrations, whilst his weakness is aerial duels  because he’s only 1.7m. Last season he made 41 appearing and notched no goal.

will he be a great signing for Spurs if it happened?

We are talking about one of the most hard-working players in La Liga. Pochettino cares about players who give their all on the pitch. Lobokta is one of those guys, and Tottenham must add good players to the squad. They haven’t won any trophies since the Argentinian went to North London.

Next. A recruiting dilemma evident at United. dark

To add, he is only 23-years of age, Spurs could have him in their ranks for at least 10 years, playing at the highest level. This will make them an even stronger team than what they are now and will inevitably, increase their chances to lift a trophy this season.

Spurs haven’t signed any player in this summer window, but the fans and the media have been treated to some good links. Will Lobotka be one of them links to become a reality?
