Two teams who fell short of ultimate glory but hit high notes throughout the tournament, meets for their final match of the World Cup.

The Three Lions square off against rivals, the Red Devils at Saint Petersburg stadium, where the latter lost their semifinals to World Cup finalists, France. Who will be dubbed as the third best team in the world after the plate final between England and Belgium?

Both teams were heavily criticised for not cutting the grade and failed at every attempt to meet the expectation of the footballing world before now. Move a World Cup on and a chance to be victorious in the plate final of the World Cup. Many will also notice they’ve reinstalled the faith of their respective nations.

The best part about this fixture – this is a revenge match for England and a game where Belgium will want to pull the double over Southgate’s side in one world event.

An underwhelming match for those who hate anything but the colour gold, but a great match for those who want to see two of the best teams beat it out for a second time.
