World Cup: The English in high spirits with Belgium fixture up next
The Three Lions public are in high spirit after their testing group run. From all over England all the fans have been celebrating in arms.
England fans have been treated to some of the best moments and need I say, convincing performances. People argue the group stage is a pushover for teams like England.
However, it was just four years ago the Three Lions were unable to push anybody in their group over. The celebrations and feel good atmosphere the English are experiencing is on the money. Give credit it where it’s due. Nobody stops at nothing to give this English squad a hard time.

Now it seems as though the team has given many, if not all, something to cheer about. Group G leaders and a match away from them giving their rivals a run in the final Group G game. Having already qualified for the gruelling knockout test that follows, England has already reached one goal.
You can sense the difference
The performances compared to both Euro 2016 and the World Cup 2014, has been almost excellent from the Three Lions. Gareth Southgate has been praised by many for his tactics during the two 90 minutes, with the second 90 a vast improvement on the first.

Harry Kane’s led his team in two straight victories and has really led by example. Leading the World in the Golden Boot race displays that Kane is capable of doing for his country what he does for his club. But we all know – this is not enough as it will take all the lions to get that trophy.
Could it really be going home…
After most of the matches have already concluded, the least favourites have been the more convincing of the world tournament. The only team of the favourites who’s performed thus far is other Group G participants, Belgium.
If I had to say and be fair, the team following them is Southgate’s England. This could be the early signs of it coming home for the English.
All these fans feel it, the players seem to look cohesive on and off the pitch, what’s stopping them from taking it? Yes it’s still very premature to be saying but… England can really bring it home.
