Arsenal’s reconstruction has taken its first step with their new chapter under way, under Unai Emery. Who will walk through the door following Emery?
How will the new man in control and his backroom staff conduct business in his first transfer window as a Gunner? Will he start from the back and close up a defence that automatically let in goals?
Will he opt to change things in the midfield area and work around a stronger midfield, making what was some years ago, arguably one of the best midfields in the Premier League? It’s a new chapter as said and many of the dead wood have been removed already.
Unai will have the power of London, his charm and the Gunners reputation to attract new players. World beaters or not – what this man did at pervious club Sevilla was nothing short of amazing.
A man able to bring some of the best names to the game, but at a time those players were mostly unknown to the public. I don’t know about you, the excitement for Arsenal and their transfer window has me excited for summer and the start of the English Premier League.
Is a new keeper on his way to Arsenal?

Arsenal’s sixth place finish was a kind finish for a side that conceded 51 goals for the season. That is the most out of the top-seven finishers this season past. If they’d conceded another four or more, they’d be sitting in the company of Crystal Palace, West Brom, and Everton.
All of whom sat in the relegation zone for some part of the season. But now the right rumours and links appear to be concentrating on the needed areas of attention for the North Londoners. With an ageing backline – it’s time to reinforce and start placing new bricks in the Emirates wall and Bernd Leno is quite the pick to do so.
The player’s future at his current club came under threat when the signing of Lukas Hradecky happened. That, or he was always on his way out and Leverkusen singed the new stopper before letting Leno go. Either way, this counts in favour of the teams on the receiving end.

This news, plus reports of the German keeper snubbing a move to Napoli – swings Leno in one direction, and that’s Arsenal. It is said the player will make a decision before the World Cup kicks off. If so, Bernd will come at a rather reasonable price. A £22 million buyout clause, he could come in cheaper than what disappointment, Jordan Pickford went to Everton.
