As said previously, changes are needed drastically at the club. Where they have started with this changes, has been no secret.

Talks that have been going on for over two months – is the inclusion of Marcel Brands as the new director of football, at The Blues. His arrival is said to be imminent as the season draws close.

With him being mentioned, it’s said the chief executive of the club is also on his way out and a replacement is on the priority list. Current chief, Robert Elstone is said to be on route to the Rugby League – with a deal ongoing, and him being heavy in favour of it.

Who his replacement will be is still up in the air, many from Everton believe the move is needed, although this man [Elstone] has been in the middle of Everton’s new stadium development. With his interests being as far as down under, one can only agree with this suitable notion.

Now the most important change in staff is the exclusion of Sam Allardyce from their plans in their next campaign. Before he came in, he was not considered as the first-choice successor for ex-manager, Ronald Koeman.

The Toffees were heavily linked with and after Watford’s ex-boss, Marco Silva. However, any possibility of a switch from the Hornets to the Blues was laid to bed by Watford, who continued to block it, before eventually sacking Silva.

It comes at no surprise that Everton look to replace Allardyce when the season concludes, but the question is – who will come in and improve what’s going on at Goodison Park? PSV manager, Phillip Cocu is one of the names been thrown in the hat. Yet, he has been warned off by his previous boss, and Everton bound, Marcel Brands.

Other than the Dutchman – nobody’s name has been heavily linked with the club.
