A new stadium to the look of £500 million for Everton the side trailing by years, compared to their counterparts. Simply put… It’s about time!

After continuous talks, meetings, and changes to location, Everton find a place they can call home. The place Farhad Moshiri and his Evertonians can call home is Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool Waters.

Leaving Goodison Park and not upgrading is a big gamble and something that’s damaged many teams in the past. A team who’s experiencing that at the moment, West Ham United. If they clever about what needs to be done, they could end up making the smartest move in the history of Everton.

Things have changed since this was the plan – but if it happens it will be a beautiful thing!

Reports go on to say, the owner and Peel Land and Property have signed a lease for the land – making the rumours of a new stadium development turn into a reality for the people of Everton.

"Everton Stadium Development Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Everton Football Club) and Peel Land and Property (Ports) Limited have formally signed an agreement for the Club to lease land at Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool Waters. The lease, which is conditional upon gaining planning consent for the proposed new stadium and securing funding for its construction, will run for a period of 200 years at a peppercorn rent. The signing of the agreement is a significant milestone in the project and means Everton effectively now controls the land upon which a new stadium would be built. This follows several years of searching for a new site and is the culmination of an exhaustive search across the city."
