Two games played against each other, one spoilt with six goals and the other, only a goal on each side. West Ham and Bournemouth play out to a draw in the Olympic Stadium with the scoreline ending in 1-1.

Many opportunities squandered by both teams, as they battled it out for 11th place on the Premier League table. David Moyes men were lucky to get back into the game thanks to a late Hernandez, equalizer.

Both sides started in the same fashion, fast and strong out the blocks. Eddie Howe and his men came to take all the points. However, David Moyes wasn’t having it and made sure this encounter ended in the same fashion as the reverse fixture.

More from AFC Bournemouth

The first goal of the game came due to a lack of decision making by the goalkeeper, Adrian. Caught in two minds on weather to come or stay – unfortunately, he’s second choice to stay after coming, came at the cost of a goal.

A brilliant goal against the run of play for the Cherries. The strike was buried deep into the back of the net. West Ham looked back to their old tricks after conceding first.

Ryan Fraser, was the man on target and who gave the visitors the lead.

West Ham’s immediate response:

After scoring in the 71th minute of the game – it looked destined, Howe and his men were marching home with all the points. However, Arnautovic and company, had other ideas.

The attacker, who’s been in great form since the change in manager – was pivotal to the Hammers last 20 minutes of the game. Getting on the end of a lofted ball, and turned nothing into something. This afforded his striking partner the chance to poach in a rare goal.

Hernandez was on target for the home side and got his team level again. The game ended strongly for both sides. Eddie, obviously irritated by the lack of concentration and inability to keep a one goal lead. But little you as a manager can get upset about – when the team you playing, is showing similar form to yours.

The game ended with as little as one goal for each side – but their one goal was enough to see them stay in the top half of the table and respectfully, keep their unbeaten run to five games.
