The Merseyside club makes it two attackers after officially announcing the signing of Theo Walcott. Sam Allardyce, has been a busy man in the transfer market – making sure this is his Everton team going into second round of the campaign.
Business has been dealt with some urgency, but does not suggest this is a pannick buy – or the player was desperate to move and put no thought in his decision. Theo Walcott, in search of a new home, found one, and a good one at that.
Sam Allardyce has seen short term success but recent failure. With no lethal counter-attacking football, Sam’s gameplan is shot. He usually sits back, soaks in all the pressure, home or away, and allows for fast wingers to hit on the break.
Walcott possess the quality of being an extremely, threatening forward – but was on a downward spiral at his previous club. Out matched by the players coming in after him and falling to injury on many occasions saw his Emirates’ dreams fade away.

Smart business for Theo Walcott?
The winger signed a three-and-a-half year deal, with his salary matched by the Blues. A £110,000 is not a bad statement by the team trying to end off strong on the fronts they face.
This money spent by Allardyce and the club, must be courtesy of Lukaku and appears to be spent better than what it was, when Ronald Koeman was in charge.
The Premier League has seen an increase in speed, that even some of the central defenders have more speed than a winger.
Inserting speed and agility into a side filled with, Rooney and Sigurdsson, I’d say its smart business. If they’d bought Andy Carroll, then I would cry – cause for concern.
Will we get to see Walcott play the weekend?
Walcott is fit and ready to take on a match. After the Blues went down to an embarrassing four goals – I feel he will slot right into the starting eleven.
It shouldn’t take long for the Englishman to adapt and coming out of an Arsenal team with more talent in the squad, he will add as a first team regular.
Next: West Ham applied the hammer
Anticipating a Walcott start on Saturday the 20th – when they run out at Goodison Park against, West Brom. Both teams acquiring themselves managerial change – with Allardyce the busiest of the two.
