Everton: Ross Barkley completes Chelsea move and Conte loves him
A big loss for the other club in Merseyside, after their neighbours lost their star player Philippe Coutinho, to spanish giants, Barcelona. Ross Barkley’s been off the scene since before the season started, he will take shape as new player in the Premier League.
The attacking midfielder who’s been searching for an exit after falling out of favour with ex-manager, Ronald Koeman. During last year’s summer window before the Premier League kicked off – Barkley was rumoured to be on his way out on the very last day of the window.
However, talks obviously hit a dead-end between the two club, Everton and Chelsea and the ball got rolling without the player finding a new club. Move six months on and Chelsea do business swiftly and complete the signing of the Liverpool born player, early in the window.

At £15 million he goes to Stamford Bridge a steal, considering the overvaluation of some overrated players in the market today. Good business by a club always spending top dollar for world-class players, rather than players with potential.
It was also good for the Blues to part ways – as the midfielder’s contract was to expire this year, 2018. After refusing to sign a bumper-new contract of £100-per-week, the club issued a warning, ” if you don’t sign – we’ll sell in the summer”.
“We are talking about a player with great potential. “He is a complete player but, at the same time, he is very young. “He is complete because he has it all. “He has stamina, he is strong physically and he has good technique. “He is fast. He is a modern footballer.”
The player has not featured for some time now – after sustaining an injury and other problems. It will be refreshing to see one of England’s youngsters try to force his way into the starting line up of a top-four club. If successful, he will surely make the World Cup squad and would deem this the perfect timing for a comeback season.
Praises from the manager Antonio Conte on new signing Ross Barkley:
The Blues manager, Conte expressed his enthusiasm after the signing and is well aware of the good player Barkley is. Filled with potential, the Italian manager has labelled Ross as, “the complete player”.
Clearly, the manager has taken a strong liking to the newcomer. He will be challenging a few good names – who can operate in his position, most notably, Eden Hazard.

The most important thing to remember, Chelsea face a tough battle with at least four teams fighting for a Champions League spot. While beating it out for the top spots, Chelsea still have European competition, the Carabao Cup, and the FA Cup.
There will undoubtedly be a need for the attacking midfielder, with the club playing on these many fronts. Hopefully, Conte uses his time wisely and bleeds the Englishman in the Stamford Bridge side, easily.
